Our Story

Why we started Rise, and the standard we hold ourselves to.

The Founder

The standard we'd hold our own food to

I started Rise out of a simple frustration — I wanted grass-fed organ supplements and clean whole-food protein that didn't come loaded with fillers, proprietary blends, or ingredients I had to look up. Every product starts with one question: what is the cleanest version of this ingredient? We source from Canadian, North American, and New Zealand farms we trust, we manufacture in Canada, and we list every ingredient because there's nothing to hide.

Why Rise Nutrition exists

I started Rise out of a simple frustration. I wanted grass-fed organ supplements and clean whole-food protein that didn't come loaded with fillers, proprietary blends, or ingredients I had to look up. Every health food store had products that sounded clean on the front of the label but told a different story on the back.

Every Rise product starts with one question: what is the cleanest version of this ingredient? If the answer involves a long list of excipients, flow agents, or proprietary blends — we start over.

Our sourcing

We source from farms in Canada, the United States, and New Zealand — selected for grass-fed and grass-finished practices, animal welfare, and clean supply chains. Our beef organs come from cattle that are grass-fed and grass-finished their entire lives — never finished on grain or corn. Our colostrum is sourced from Canadian dairy farms, first-milking only. Our egg white protein comes from locally farmed Canadian eggs.

New Zealand is one of the world's premier sources for grass-fed bovine products. The year-round pasture system and strict animal welfare standards make NZ farms among the cleanest in the world. When we source from New Zealand, it's because the quality meets the same bar we hold Canadian farms to.

The 1-ingredient rule

Most of our products have exactly one ingredient. When you pick up a bottle of our Beef Organs, the ingredient list says: beef liver, beef heart, beef kidney, beef pancreas, beef spleen. No magnesium stearate. No silicon dioxide. No rice flour. Nothing added that doesn't need to be there.

This rule isn't a marketing position — it's a constraint we set before we formulate anything. If we can't make it clean, we don't make it.
