Beef tallow has a high smoke point (~400°F/205°C), making it ideal for searing, frying, and roasting. Unlike industrial seed oils, tallow is a naturally saturated fat that remains chemically stable at high temperatures — no oxidation, no toxic aldehydes.
Grass-fed tallow contains meaningful amounts of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, and stearic acid — a saturated fat that research suggests does not raise LDL cholesterol.
Use for roasting, searing, frying, and sautéing. Substitute 1:1 for butter or coconut oil in most recipes.
